  • Vendor Management and Program Outsourcing Will Move Front and Center
  • Risk Management Will Become a PM Obsession
  • Crisis Environments Will Leverage Project Portfolio Principles for Better Outcomes
  • PM Learning Measurement Will No Longer be a “Nice to Have”
  • PM Learning Will Push out of the Classroom

It seems as though project management practices (including metrics and tracking) are going to become even more important this year. Perhaps the recession has taught us that you can’t manage what you don’t measure, and that projects that waste money and resource time must be cut in order to maximize profitability.
